Information we collect
Most of the information we hold comes directly from you. Some is collected automatically when you use the website.

How we use your information
We use your information to:
- process, ship and deliver your orders, including handling returns, refunds and warranty questions;

- answer questions you send us through our contact form or email;
- keep our website and customers secure, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- send you marketing emails, but only if you have chosen to receive them;
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them only for these purposes:
- Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember what is in your shopping cart and keep checkout secure. The store cannot work without them.
- Preference cookies remember things such as your wishlist and the products you are comparing.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website, such as the cart and your account, may then stop working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with companies that help us run our business, and only as far as they need it:
- Shipping carriers receive your name, delivery address and phone number so they can deliver your order.
- Payment providers process your payment securely. They receive the details needed to complete the transaction.
- Google supplies the fonts used on our website and the maps shown on our Contact and Order Tracking pages. When these load, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information.
- Our web hosting provider stores our website and its data on its servers.
- Our email newsletter provider sends our newsletters, if you have subscribed.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
How long we keep it
- Account information: for as long as your account is open. You can ask us to close it at any time.
- Order records: for as long as we need them to meet tax, accounting and warranty obligations.
- Contact form messages: for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up.
- Email delivery logs: deleted automatically after 30 days.
How we protect it
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored in hashed form, and access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do their job. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work hard to protect yours. If you think your account has been compromised, change your password and contact us straight away.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law (for example, order records needed for tax purposes);
- stop receiving marketing emails at any time;
- withdraw any consent you have given us.
You can update most of your details yourself in My Account. For anything else, email info@pledgeglobalelectronics.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by law. We will never treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, and customers in other countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union, have rights under their local laws, and we honor requests made under them.
Children's privacy
Our website is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We are based in the United States. If you visit or shop from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
